Gospel Conversation Planner

Build a respectful conversation path in 30 seconds: a natural opener, listening prompt, clear gospel explanation, response paths, prayer, and follow-up message.

Start with the person, not a presentation. Ask permission, listen before sharing, keep the good news clear, and leave room for an honest yes, unsure, or no.

A natural six-step conversation path

Step 1

Pray for love, not performance

Ask Jesus to help you notice the person, listen without rushing, and speak with courage and gentleness.

Step 2

Open with permission and a real question

Use a question that fits the relationship and the moment. Make it easy for the person to answer honestly.

Step 3

Listen for the person behind the answer

Ask one follow-up question before sharing. Receive pain, doubt, and disagreement without trying to fix the person.

Step 4

Ask before you share

A simple 'Would you be open to hearing why Jesus matters to me?' keeps the conversation respectful.

Step 5

Keep the good news clear

God made us for relationship with Him. Sin has broken that relationship. Jesus died and rose to rescue us, and grace is received by turning to Him and trusting Him.

Step 6

Invite, never corner

Ask what connects, what feels difficult, and what one next step would be honest. Honour a yes, an unsure, or a no.

The gospel in simple language

God made us for relationship with Him, but sin has fractured that relationship and we cannot repair it by trying harder. Jesus came near, died for our sin, and rose again. He offers forgiveness and new life as a gift to anyone who turns to Him and trusts Him.

Respect is part of the witness

If someone says no, thank them and stop. If they are unsure, receive the uncertainty and offer another conversation. If they are open, pray with them, exchange contact details with permission, and agree on one clear next step.
